suffolk county REMA lunch

Our second Suffolk County REMA lunch was held on June 22, 2023 at Sal’s Ristorante.
It was a semi-sweet moment as the restaurant changed ownership only a few days prior to our lunch. 
Sal was on hand to ease the transition and the day went off without a hitch.. Great food, great service and of course great company.
Sal was ‘officially’ welcomed to the retired side of REMA as he is now without a job. He will be taking some time off before deciding what to do.
Good luck to Sal, and also to the new owners of Sal’s Ristorante. 

It was a very good turnout with a few members attending their first REMA meeting in years. 

A collection was started for Rich G with the donations of Shawn L and Richie Y’s 50/50 winnings. In total, the 39 attendees donated $1190!

A great ending to an awesome day.
