Cold from standing in Times Square or just watching it on TV? Oh Mr, Lombardo where are you? Still hungry after Chinese take out on New Year’s day? Blood pressure in the red because of the (insert roadway name here)? Well thirty-three brave souls got together to start the new year off right. Disregarding the forecast for weather-geddon due to arrive the next day, the group gathered around the charcoal grill as Kenny and his sous chefs, John and Nick prepared a feast of chicken, burgers, sausage & peppers, knishes and hot dogs; all accompanied with salads and even cookies for dessert. A tradition started last year and continuing in 2024, got the new year off right! Thanks to those that came and especially those that cooked. We hope next year the crowd is even larger.
