Starting the event was our very own, Police Office Brianna Fernandez, who BEAUTIFULLY sang our National Anthem.  Then Monsignor Romano was called upon to bless and dedicate the long anticipated new bronze Special Operations Memorial Plaque. Followed by the reading of the Memorial Roll Call by retired ESU Lt. Al Baker. The ceremony concluded with a presentation to the SCUBA unit and the reveal of the newly refurbished LaGuardia-Pyke bomb trailers. Lunch followed with entertainment from the NYPD Band which did an outstanding job!. The 19th annual Day of Remembrance was a huge success.
