The weather was near perfect as the vintage and not so vintage cars arrived for the fourth annual REMA car show.
The proud owners and their guests enjoyed showing off and talking about their cars, as well as walking about to view the others.
Everyone enjoyed the sun as they munched on heroes and salads provided by Eddie Canlon of Canlon’s Restaurant, ‘official’ REMA caterer. Eddie donated a gift certificate to raffle off for a dinner at his restaurant. Thank you Ed! Oh, and the homemade brownie dessert was awesome.
Afterwards the ‘Best of Show’ was awarded to a 1931 Model A Ford
‘C.O.’s (Commanding Officer’s) Choice went to
1968 Chevy Camaro Convertible
A collection was also made in order to make a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. A total of $250 was donated.

I was at the show. 1967 BMW 2000cs. My wife won the 50-50. Msgr. Romano was probably waiting for a donation to his church, Our Lady of Guadaloupe in Brooklyn. He is a great guy. Happy he was there.
