2024 REMA CALENDAR PREVIEW

Thank you for ordering the 2024 REMA calendar.  Once again, the ‘Where’s Waldo’ theme is back. For those that don’t know about Mojo, in the late 1980s -1990s, ESS Truck 2 in Harlem had a mascot, a dog named Mojo.  He was treated as ‘one of the guys’.  Mojo has appeared in every calendar and is usually sitting on the front bumper of the truck.  This year he appears 17 times throughout the calendar on the following top pages: January, February, March, May, June, August, October, November and December. He is on the bottom grid pages in January, November and December. Some pages have multiple Mojos. Can you find all 17? For those that don’t know Mojo, here is his picture:

This is the 10th anniversary issue of the REMA calendar. A one shot idea has lasted ten years. Very often difficult to continue at times (usually August) and only in the black once, apologies to my wife, the positive comments keep me going. The front cover represents the previous nine issues.

The back cover has the names of those we lost since the last calendar. Take a moment look at those names and remember them in your prayers. If you would like to share a story or two about one of them, feel free to do so and they will be placed on the REMA website (NYPDREMA.COM).

To contribute to the 2025 calendar you can send pictures to REMA at: PICTURES@NYPDREMA.COM.

Enjoy the hunt for MOJO, and no, there is no prize, other than pride, for finding all 17. Enjoy the calendar and have a Happy New Year.

Thanks,
TC
